Heart-Centred Living Workshop with Forrest Yoga Guardian Jambo Truong
Featuring Jambo Truong, Forrest Yoga Guardian
Dragonfly Studio
Kyrkogatan 15
Avesta, Sweden 774 31
These breathing techniques are some of the first that were researched when the investigation into the benefits of meditation were being sought out many years ago.

Over the past 20 years extensive research has been done on coherence, nervous system health and balance. Derived from the school of HeartMath, Jambo has combined his coaching skills from the world of meditation science with a yoga practise that enables us to embody the teachings that we experience as we go deeper into exploring our own personal intents.

Working in this way sets an intent that is heart-felt, and the practice moves that intent into our global system enabling fascial network changes that enable us to feel the truth of what we are intending. That is when there is lasting change.

This workshop elevates our emotions and brings in the energy of celebration, which we need to open the new studio space.

This training is for people who want to learn how to heal themselves so they can learn how to help heal others. By exploring your own asymmetries, injuries and anatomical characteristics through 10 days of yoga, bodywork, & ceremony, you will be educated how to apply and prescribe yoga postures and bodywork to initiate recovery and improve intrinsic mobility patterns.

You will learn to feel how the relationships of muscular/fascial patterns shape the physical body and how it moves and breathes by exploring your own anatomical characteristics, asymmetries and injuries through ten days of yoga, bodywork & ceremony

You will be trained to understand, feel and see anatomy through breath and movement patterns in a whole new way.

You will learn to see how emotions get stuck in the body and work with how the nervous system and breath respond.

You will experience the difference between practicing “thinking mode versus feeling mode” and learn effective ways to strengthen your ability to hold attention and discern deeper levels of feeling.

Our famous CARESS is the practical foundation of our bodywork philosophy.  It is the backbone of all touch techniques and the most profound approach to communicating with the body.

How it works is best displayed in how mom or dad soothes their young child with touch, or how a dog and dog-lover communicate through play and petting. The Medicine of the Caress comes through in how it communicates to the receiver that they are perfect as they are, they are worthy of being touched in a way that makes them feel good, and that they are safe, loved, and cared for.

Without the Caress as a backbone most forms of bodywork tends toward being mechanistic. With the Caress, the body’s neuro-muscular-fascial-fatty-lymphatic-vascularized sleeve learns how to uptake pleasure and meet it’s own tension in ways that release and process out through the entire body.

As a YogaBodyworker graduate you will be equipped with educational and practical tools that enhance movement and mobility within yourself and clients and to apply touch in a highly skilled way.

Hands On Assists Workshop with Forrest Yoga Guardians Jambo Truong & Brian Campbell
Featuring Jambo Truong, Forrest Yoga Guardian, and Brian Campbell, Forrest Yoga Guardian
bYOGA
Beatrixgasse 28
Vienna
+43 66 4837 2209
This weekend of experiential workshops is designed to offer practitioners a sensory understanding of their own anatomy in yoga poses. Each morning focuses on a sequence that prepares practitioners to work on the hands-on assists in the afternoon. Even if you are not a teacher, learning hands on assists gives you a deeper appreciation of your own body and the directions of your own yoga practice. This course aims to demystify yoga poses and strengthen your understanding of why hands-on assists help deepen the experience of what the pose has to offer, rather than how the pose is supposed to look.

Daily Schedule
09:00am - 10:00am Intent Setting with Yoga Ceremony
10:00am - 12:00pm Forrest Yoga Intensive
2:00pm - 5.00pm Hands on assists

Saturday 17 November - The Anatomy of Backbends
Forrest Yoga Intensive: The Hidden Foundations of Advanced Backbends

This workshop experientially demonstrates how therapeutic backbends are the poses to work on in order to have firm and confident foundations for deeper backbends practises. This therapeutic backbend sequence deliberately prepares practitioners to work on the hands on assists for deeper backbends and twists.

Sunday 18 November - The Anatomy of Hip Opening
Forrest Yoga Intensive: The Legs As The Key To Unlock The Hips

This workshop experientially demonstrates how standing poses are the most effective for long lasting hip opening. Standing Pose Series is a method of sequencing that is unique to Forrest Yoga. Not only does this sequencing style help to create more strength in the legs by training the neuro-pathways to safely go beyond their familiar edge, it is also an ideal sequencing style to have longevity in the openness of hips. This workshop will take you through the several planes of possible movements for the hips so you can discern which are your strong directions and which angles you need to work more for your personal development of happy hips. You will also experience how working systematically creates surprisingly new possibilities in hip opening.
