Denise Hopkins discovered yoga as saving grace to life in the competitive NYC fashion industry. Finding her calling in the style of Forrest Yoga, she completed her teacher training with Ana Forrest in 2005. In her classes, Denise stresses the combination of breath and movement, as well as long holds in poses as a way of breaking down emotional walls held in the body. Her approach is challenging and focused, but always playful. Denise teaches classes and privates in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.
