Aeriel discovered yoga, particularly Forrest Yoga, 2 years ago after sustaining injuries affecting the use of the right side of her body. "Forrest Yoga has allowed me to actively participate and experience healing in my own life. The practice of yoga allows me to experience the relationship between my breath and body, mind and spirit. This continues to have significance as it improves my strength and balance and empowers me physically and emotionally both on my mat and in my personal journey. My yoga practice has brought aliveness to my life where the IMPOSSIBLE becomes POSSIBLE. My hope is to share the benefits of yoga with others. I once believed there were a lot of reason why I couldn't (and wouldn't) do yoga but now I've experienced the truth...I believe everyone 'can do' and benefits from yoga." Aeriel invites new students to join her on the mat to discover themselves anew and become curious about the possibilities!
Aeriel completed the Forrest Foundation Teacher Training in 2008 and is now participating in the Mentorship program under Mentor Heidi Sormaz, Fresh Yoga, New Haven, CT. Aeriel teaches at Raffa Yoga, Cranston, RI.
