Darcy Hagerman is 38 years old and lives in Arvada, Colorado with her five year old daughter, mother, and pets. In 2002, she was encouraged to begin practicing yoga from a magazine by a friend who called it a ýmellowý activity and attended her first class during pregnancy in 2004. Most of her yoga education has been at the Vital Yoga studio in Denver aside from home study. She believes that snowboarding and skateboarding have played a major part in being open to more advanced poses. As a child, she wanted to be a singer and has used her past experience from karyoke to help her teach. She wants yoga to bring as much positive change and happiness into the lives of others as it has her own.
