About Szilvia:
Szilvia was introduced to the transformational power of ceremonial work in 2001 at an international Sun Dance ceremony in her native Hungary. She enjoyed her role as singer and drummer and learnt many songs in Hungarian. Her journey and spiritual quest into mysticism took her to a german sundance where she represented her tribe. Many mystical experiences, esoteric studies, and travels later she settled down in Los Angeles, where her and mentor-teacher husband Brian started a family. When her youngest started kindergarten (in 2011) the timing was perfect to receive an invitation from master yogini and medicine woman Ana Forrest to complete her 200hour teacher training. After completing training, She started teaching kids as volunteer at a high-risk youth center in South Central and her children’s school, utilizing all the ‘child whisperer’ skills she has earned in preschool as coop mom, and elementary classrooms as parent volunteer. The same time she taught adult classes at various studios in LA, took a kids yoga teachers training and opened up her own home studio in Palms. Her continued exploration of the body energetics, students, mentoring with Brian, and gracious guidance of female shamanic teachers lead her to a powerful inquiry to deepen connection and invite her Spirit home in the body.
