Anita Jasser has been practicing yoga for the last 10 years, initially starting with Ashtanga before finding Forrest Yoga. The practice has helped Anita find an inner strength, softness and ways of managing her high energy, both on and off the mat. Yoga has inspired Anita to teach and share her passion of the practice, so others may experience the transformational benefits.
Anita completed her 200-hour Forrest Yoga training with Ana Forrest in San Francisco in March 2015. She has since completed and assisted a continuing education course designed to support Forrest teachers improve their teaching and bring out their authenticity. She has also completed functional anatomy trainings and has completed an advanced Forrest yoga training in August 2016. Anita is also a body psychotherapist in training and therefore has the capacity to support students as they move through the practice and their own internal process.
In her classes, Anita loves to combine intent, awareness of emotions and a spirit of playfulness to help you deepen your practice. She seeks to help you learn tools that will best support you in everyday life, from managing day to day stress, to becoming comfortable with the uncomfortable. Her hope is that when you step off the mat, you feel supported, grounded and ready to take on whatever you need to face.
