Forrest Yoga AssociateEmail:
Gabrielle found yoga through a fascination with its philosophy, and later discovered its medicinal properties. She soon became a devoted Forrest Yoga practitioner and earned her 204-hour Forrest Foundations Certificate in Bali, Indonesia this March, adding onto a 200-hour Integrative Vinyasa Certification from 2013, as well as long term embodied study of Yin, and continuous experience leading guided meditations.
With a BA in Literature from Duke University (‘12) & an MFA in Creative Writing & Poetics from Naropa University (‘17), Gabrielle has extensive background in the writing world: she is a published writer & poet, an experienced copywriter, and the Co-founder & Co-curator of the Denver-based poetry collective: .off. She has taught undergraduate writing courses, and currently co-leads a memory care poetics workshop as well as a weekly short story workshop for the Balfour retirement community. Currently, she is co-founding an alternative healing center (yoga, meditation, writing, reiki & massage) called The Space Station, coming to Denver in the spring of 2018.
She is passionate about the redemptive and connective capacities of creativity, as well as the medicinal properties of mindfulness. She finds purpose in helping people heal and transform through these beautiful practices.
